Brief Product Description
Provides relief from joint and nerve pain associated with fluid imbalance and inflammation, the most notable being carpal tunnel syndrome. Contains Vitamin B6 and pantothenic acid, essential for the maintenance of water metabolism with diuretic botanicals cornsilk, alfalfa, dandelion and celery. Electrolyte minerals potassium and magnesium work in conjunction with the B vitamins and are also important factors in maintaining proper fluid balance.
AQUA-B6™ - How it Works
Background
There are over 60 vitamin B6-dependent enzymes, and over 300 requiring magnesium for proper functioning. Conversion of glycogen to glucose for energy, numerous reactions of amino acid metabolism, formation of the neurotransmitter, and the production of hemoglobin all require vitamin B6. This nutrient is also essential to the nervous system through its role in the formation of gamma-amino butyric acid, a regulator of neuronal activity. Vitamin B6 plays a role in regulation of water balance through its involvement in the release or production of ACTH, the pituitary hormone which stimulates the adrenal cortex to release other hormones directly involved in water metabolism.
AQUA-B6 contains vitamin B6 and pantothenic acid, also essential for the maintenance of proper water metabolism, along with vitamins B1, B2 and niacinamide for nutrient balance. Essential electrolyte minerals potassium and magnesium work in conjunction with the B vitamins and are also important factors in maintaining proper fluid balance.
