Four Out Of Five Physicians Recommend Supplements: CRN Poll
A recent survey by the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) found that 79% of physicians and healthcare professionals recommend dietary supplements for their patients. This helps backs the AMA's (American Medical Association) recommendation in 2002 that all adults should take a multivitamin daily because of "the known and suspected benefits" of certain supplemental vitamins "in preventing cardiovascular disease, cancer, and osteoporosis" (quoted from source). Its great to see that physicians and healthcare professionals are finally starting to come to a consensus regarding the health benefits of taking certain dietary supplements, and that preventative nutritional measures are becoming more mainstream in today's healthcare system.
